The Truett Hurst Tasting Barn is at 428 Hudson Street in downtown Healdsburg, a short walk from the Plaza. We are open Thursday through Sunday, 11am to 5pm, and closed Monday through Wednesday. Walk-ins are welcome. Call 707-433-9545 or email info@truetthurst.com.
Truett Hurst was founded in 2007 on Dry Creek Road, with the creek, the goats, and the red Adirondack chairs many of you remember. In early 2024 that property was sold by the board while the company was publicly traded. Founder Phil Hurst, with long-time friend Ken Wilson of Wilson Artisan Wineries, bought the business back that same year. The purchase included the wine inventory, and it kept our winemaker, Ross Reedy.
The winery did not close. The name, the wines, the family, and the winemaker are the same. The address changed.
Our new home is a 1908 barn that Shawn E. Hall remodeled to hold on to the laid-back feel of Dry Creek Valley. It opened in December 2024. You can bring outside food, dogs are welcome on leash, kids are welcome, and there is live music most weekends through the summer. Reservations are easy to make online and not required for a walk-in tasting.
Still Dry Creek Valley, still Zinfandel and Petite Sirah at the heart of it, still made by Ross. The wine club continues with the same three tiers, and every membership carried over.
