Curious about how our wines are crafted or looking to deepen your wine knowledge? Fridays with the Winemaker offers a relaxed, engaging tasting experience led by our winemaker, Ross Reedy, whose award-winning style balances tradition and innovation.
Join us in the tasting barn for a guided five-wine flight, as Ross shares the decisions, techniques, and subtle nuances behind each pour. The atmosphere is casual and conversational – perfect for those new to wine, casually curious, or eager to dive into the finer details.
These gatherings are a fun way to get a deeper look at what’s in the glass; from vineyard selections and cellar techniques to the unique story of each vintage. Questions, conversation, and curiosity are all encouraged along the way.

Enjoy a delicious day of wine, chili, and friendly competition as part of the Wilson Artisan Wineries Chili Cookoff — with a special stop at Truett Hurst and VML.
During this annual event, guests are invited to visit all participating Wilson Artisan Wineries, each paired with a local chef to create a signature chili thoughtfully matched with one of their favorite wines. In addition to the Wilson wineries, Truett Hurst and VML are excited to welcome guests as participating tasting locations, offering our own wine and chili pairing experience as part of the day’s festivities.
Your ticket includes a commemorative wine glass and a ballot to vote for your favorite wine and chili pairing. Guests who visit at least four locations and submit a completed ballot will be entered to win one of several prize packages.
*Please note: any children (or infants) attending must have a designated driver/non-drinker ticket.
